Once Email Terms of Service

1. Service
Once Email provides a free, receive-only temporary mailbox, browser-local privacy tools and, when shown as available at checkout, an optional paid developer API subscription. The mailbox cannot send, reply to or forward email. Paying does not make the service suitable for sensitive or prohibited uses.
2. Appropriate use
You may use the service for lawful, low-risk purposes such as software testing, verification messages and separating routine registrations from a personal inbox. You must not use it to break the law, harm others, distribute malware, evade another service’s rules, access another person’s mailbox, interfere with the service or automate abusive traffic.
Report suspected abuse to [email protected] with the relevant temporary address, approximate time and enough context to investigate. Do not send passwords, payment information or unnecessary message content.
3. Temporary nature
Addresses, domains and received messages are temporary. The displayed mailbox lifetime is at most one day, and data may be removed earlier when you delete or replace an address. Expired or deleted data cannot be recovered. Do not use the service for important accounts, account recovery, banking, healthcare, government, legal or confidential communications.
4. Content received from others
Email content is supplied by third parties. Once Email does not endorse it and cannot guarantee that it is accurate, lawful or safe. Remote content is blocked in the protected viewer, but you remain responsible for deciding whether to open links or attachments.
5. Browser-local tools
Tool results are informational. Header and link checks do not perform every reputation, malware, DNS or destination check and cannot guarantee safety. Password strength estimates are not warranties. Use appropriate security software, multi-factor authentication and professional advice when needed.
6. Paid API subscription and billing
The price, currency, billing interval, included monthly inbox-creation allowance and other limits shown at checkout form part of your order. The current developer plan is intended to allow up to 25,000 new or switched inboxes per billing month; receiving messages is not metered by count, but security controls, technical limits, fair-use rules and the temporary mailbox lifetime still apply.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Stripe hosts checkout and the customer portal and processes payment details under its own terms and privacy policy; Once Email does not receive or store full card numbers. You can cancel through the billing portal. Unless the portal states otherwise, cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid billing period and access continues until then. Failed, reversed or disputed payments may suspend paid access and API keys.
Charges for a billing period that has started are generally non-refundable, except where required by law or where we confirm a duplicate or incorrect charge. Contact [email protected] promptly about a billing issue. We will give advance notice before a price or allowance change applies to a future renewal.
7. Availability and warranty
The service is provided as available without a promise of uninterrupted operation, permanent domains, delivery of every message or fitness for a particular purpose. We may restrict abusive use, change domains, modify features or discontinue the service.
8. Responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Once Email is not responsible for losses caused by relying on a temporary address, expired or undelivered mail, third-party content, or misuse of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
9. Privacy and changes
The Privacy Policy explains current data handling. We may update these terms when the service or legal requirements change; the updated date will be shown here. Continued use after an update means the new terms apply.
